Nj ask jitters

I am really scared. Nj ASK is on Monday. Yes, we spent so many months preparing for them and I have passed them all before. Its just that I don't write well. These blogs take me forever to do. Even though once I get a hang of writing, it comes out well, I've never had more than a 5 in writing. So now I am worried sick that the questions will be hard. What If I don't finish the writing before the time is up? I can't write. My friends are good writers. I wish I could write as good as them.
But, You all know what all the adults say. It'll be fine. Do not panic. Well, I Am still panicking! Anything could happen in these long tests! What if it turned out as hard as the SAT s? That would be really bad. A crisis really. The math section I am not worried about. I did great last year. The English was a little challenging. But they expect so much more now.So wish me and my friends some luck on Monday.

If only.....

If I were rich I would do so many things. First and most obviously... not tell anyone. Everyone would want to be my friend for the money. Keep my true friends. My inner circle of friends and maybe... maybe tell them. I would pay all the debts my mom has and buy her an apartment to live in. My family out of U.S I would help too. Then help a charity, any. Then I would put up a company or a restaurant to keep the money running and earn as much as I spend.

Now that would all be just great but there is more. I would help out schools, hospitals and support earth health programs. I would finish school. Get a job, and travel the world. Now, I don't want to be one of those quick millionaires that get the money and spend it all. I would enjoy it, save and make sure my family has a good place to live. Especially my Mom. What would you do if you became rich?

Troll face

For some reason a lot of people get hooked on fads. Fads come and go, or are just noticed by certain people. I never pay attention to them. But lots of people do. This recent fad I came across is called the troll face. It is actually a smiling troll face. He has his own theme song too. I think it's a bit ridiculous. In my school it took over for a while, were the never ending chorus rung loud and clear through the halls.

Eventually though I had to give in and I found this picture. Since then, I have listened to the troll face song too. By accident got my sister hooked on it. Serves to show that the saying if you can't beat them, join them, actually works. Now that I discovered the new picture of the troll face cake, My friends have begged me to make one. So have you ever had some fad that you
got hooked on?

Series movies

Another thing I hate are series movies. I hate them. They leave you hanging at the middle of the good part. Just like the twilight series or the harry potter. It's not fair. I would guess that it is a good tactic to keep people for the next few movies. And most people are too lazy to read the book, so they never find out. Then we have to wait virtually FOREVER for the next movie.

You get stuck with hopeless, wannabe fans for months until the next movie comes out. So many people give up on the movie and they leave people hanging until the very last minute and then they let it out. Then, the movie could have been way better. So really, what is the point of doing that? Who hasn't been irritated of that? Or at least been a victim?

wEIRD DUDES.

Girls, have you ever wondered what goes on in the head of some weird boy? Well, I have. And I've been trying to figure it out. There's just too many things to decipher. It's like trying to hack some crazy NASA computer. There's so many twists, turns and contradictory statements. You dudes must be pretty offended by now, but I am serious. Really. Take this one time, I had a dare to dress up as a goth. I hated it. Absolutely hated it. Black eye liner, black jeans, black shirt, the whole enchilada.

The weird thing is that a couple people liked it. I was so shocked! So whoever discovers how to interpret these kind of things, give me a call. I would be happy to learn. I mean who hasn't dealt with people who they don't get. Well, it drives me nuts! And I'm getting tired of it. I mean who isn't?

Easter!!

Easter is a holiday that most of us look forward too. Like me! The beautiful, colorful Easter eggs, candy, toys, games and most importantly... Chocolate!! Even though some people don't celebrate the religious holiday, they still have Easter. It's a great time to have fun or travel.Kids have a whole week off of school too. So they have the time and exercise.

The Easter baskets that the bunny leaves are the best too. Movies come out of the special holiday too, like Hop. I enjoy it a lot. Even though It has it's awesome upsides, there are some pretty bad downsides. The dress. Or suit. Why must we dress up in fancy cloths and shoes? Ok, it's a holiday and for some of us it's religious. What about to those of us who are not? I for one, prefer a regular casual clothing. Jeans and a top. There. Problem solved. What do you think?

MAC book air!!!!!!!

Okay, this is one of the sole things that I want. A mac book air! Or pro... pro is good. It is just so amazing! I want it, I want it! Of course, it's got to be really expensive. I dont blame them. That thing is close to godliness!! It's beautiful!. Sleek, travel size, light. All the perfect components of a work of fine technology.

I know that technology keeps advancing and it will get better. Right now, I don't care! I want that computer! I mean, who has not wanted something? Like, really badly? So why not want something worth while? So I am a person who is interested in technology, but even a person who does not would think that it is a master piece of technology. You can all keep your windows and Google, as long as I can stick to Apple. What do you think?

Nj ask rant!

What is the purpose of Nj ask testing? It last FOUR DAYS! Who wants to check a test that took four days to complete? Who wants to take it? Not me! My least favorite part is the reading/writing task, no offence to my teacher. It's just so hard!I having to sit on a chair for 40 minutes and write. I am not the best writer in the world. Some how though I manage to pass... by a lot... which really surprises me. We should get paid to take the Nj ASK. Put you in my situation. You have a prompt asking you if you should have tables or desks in a class room.Who really cares?! As long as you have a place to sit and write your answers!

Also the sixth grade finals are harder so what's the point of the NJ ASK? Practice? If it were, it should be at least on the same level as the finals. So, board of education, teachers or who ever comes up with the Nj ASK, just drop it. Nj ASK is an undesirable. Who said we don't have enough tests in the year for you guys to stress us out more! What do you think? Nj ASK, Do or don't?

The best things in life.

The best things in life are also free? What's that supposed to mean? Well, I know. I think it means that you don't need money to enjoy life. Money is, if you think about it, a piece of green paper with a special signature on it, with a given value. But what if money wasn't in existence? What if you didn't have money? You couldn't buy that new iPod you always wanted or that mac book air? I think the best thing in life that is truly free is friendship.

You can't buy friendship can you? You earn it. With a great connection with others that you enjoy. You always have your friends. They always support you throughout and keep you company. to me, happiness is the best thing in life, to enjoy the time you have. That is the best thing in life and money can't buy it. Many people think money and riches and objects are happiness but if they didn't have it, what would you have then? So, what do you think the best thing in life is, even if it's not free?

Middle school

You know, since last year in fifth grade, my thoughts have changed a lot about middle school in some ways. What didn't change was that it's a mad house. What did was that it has a whole lot of drama. People make too much of a big deal about everything. Every tiny, minuscule, insignificant details, fro m 8th grade gossip to the color of your t-shirt. I frankly, have gotten sick of it. We go to school to learn, not to worry about the color of Stacy's new shoes.

Most of this gossip goes on at the "in crowd." Well just because you have brand new Gucci flip flops and a cool Guess jacket gets you in. The appearance is all that matters. Not the grades. So what happened to school? What happened to minding your own business and doing some hard work? Well, I personally think that doing well in school is all that matters. What do you think?
